SOOOOOOO
had the knee surgery!!
pretty much sums it up? I just had morphine, so I'm completely clear headed? really? tell that to the officer next time.
Came home, thought I was getting better.....
Thursday night shaking, fever, can't get warm under 8 blankets and a heating pad, blurred vision, all through until Saturday when I went to the clinic and HEY! not normal, got a dose of antibiotic through the IV
So I got better right? WRONG!!!! apparently the bacteria inside of me is as strong as I am ;) and it is resistant to the antibiotic so I get sicker until Sat night at midnight where i'm dizzy and lights are flashing through my brain with the lights off and my eyes shut
So it was off to the ER
more needles poked into my tiny veins, lots of drugs pumped through including a nausea medicine that I react to strongly and full on started seizuring for 5 hours. Luckily I was so drugged up I passed out and tripped up the stairs on crutches, but my mom had to watch me violently lash out for hours.
After three days of IV treatment I got taken off the IV and given oral antibiotics.
Surprise, surprise the bacteria was stronger than those meds and withing 48 hours I had completely relapsed to the point of where I couldn't even stand my legs were both shaking so much!!!!
mind you this was exactly 2 weeks after surgery, the day I was supposed to start getting off crutches and I couldn't stand!!!
So BACK TO THE ER
and more doses of IV treatment as well as now getting tested for bacteria cysts and cat scan on my stomach. I gotta tell you the thing I had to drink for the CAT scan tasted like vodka and on a nauseas stomach that hasn't eaten a full meal in two weeks that's pretty damn difficult to drink a liter of. Amanda and Kim stopped by and brought me flowers!!! and distracted me as a drank my "poison"
Turned out none of those things were wrong, just stubborn under the skin bacteria!!
Finally the doc who I know from water ramping (yes HE water ramps and I taught him misty flips)
talked with the infectious disease DR. and together they decided to put me on this rare and powerful antibiotic that treats extreme Merca ( no idea if thats how you spell it but it's an under the skin infection that has become unsensitive to most antibiotics) It costs 17,000 for a one week supply!!!!!!!!! THANK GOD for insurance so we paid a very very small fraction of that price!!
None of the pharmacies around here carry it since it's so rare so we got some from the hospital and got our dose shipped in!
LUCKILY that's working great!!!! the bacteria is going awway and i am feeling great!! Now i am SOOOOOO sick and tired of being sick and tired! (pun intended cause i'm a retard)
oh yea and the knee is doing great! got my stitches out! The swelling is almost all gone! Can bend it 106* and get it fully straight! and.........I'M WALKING =)
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
p.s. hide your kids, hide your wife, hide your facebook, I'm hacking everything out there!
