Undies Run, Crutches, LARS and whats coming next

Heyyy Everyone!!
Lets talk crutches....everyone loves to grab an play with crutches unless they actually have to use them, then they try and ditch them as soon as possible!  As a kid I somehow thought it was bad luck to play with crutches, so I NEVER did.  But no worries over the past year I have spent MONTHS of it on crutches.

First time I was on crutches I was a model crutcher.  I walked very slowly and carefully with them, wouldn't even go out on the crutches, and for should would NEVER have decided I should go for a 2 mile run in my undies on crutches with thousands of other people,

I did get some awesome piggy back rides so thanks to those guys!

But This time around I've loosened up a little (or a lot) and it seems to be working out just fine for my knee, and is a helllllaa lot more FUN!

But still.....having to be on crutches is NOT where i want to be, so I need to get fixed pronto!!!!

And I want to try something different that just might last a little longer.  So I'm going to Canada on Wednesday and getting the LARS surgery there.  For my social media class we are starting a podcast series, so I decided to do mine on the surgery and rehab.  Most of my friends and family don't know what the LARS is or how it works.  This podcast below is an introduction to LARS and my podcast series.

I have the best friends ever.  HANDS DOWN.  They are the coolest people in the world and I am SO LUCKY that they hang out with me ;)   Yesterday Abbie and Ang gave me the coolest goodie bag evaaaaa.

Level 1 4bi9 recap HOLLA

So the level 1 4bi9 Premier was AMAZING!!!! mad props to all the homies out there killin it!  Seriously one of the most fun nights in my life! Loved seeing everyone!  Dancing on crutches....Always a good time!  Since Kirsten and I both cannot be responsible for a camera (I lose my phone while it's tied to my waist.)  Here are some photos taken by the one and only Trevor Woods!

Also thanks to Erik for letting us crash at his place, Plus letting me use his computer for my 10:15 class the next day!

Speaking of crutches on Saturday night after going to an awesome party thrown by miss Allie!  Which unfortunately got busted in like 30 minutes  I was at a random house with random people and the next thing I knew Abbie said my crutch was gone!  yes someone is now the proud owner of 1 Gold and blinging Jtitties crutch,  good thing I got loaned another pair cause I'm SO sick of buying crutches!

Also, today I was swinging in my back yard, It fell, I landed and got the wind nocked out of me, passed out, woke up with the EMTs there, chillen in my Pajamas with no bra......SUPER CLASSY  I got up and was completely fine,  It's normal to black out then wake up with no symptoms and remember everything right?

So I haven't made a blog post in a while and there is a reason for that.  I busted up my knee again and fell into an acute depression.  I have never been so frustrated and sad in my entire life.  I couldn't bear to talk with even my closest friends about what was going.  I excluded myself in my room, and struggled through school which started the very day I busted myself up.  I spent a few days screaming that I couldn't survive if I couldn't ski this year.

Gradually I realized I couldn't stay in this depression.  I needed to get up and get going with my life.  I was pretty sick of all the optimistic comments everyone was throwing at me like how this was going to make me so much stronger and shi* I know every single person was trying to help and I truly appreciated and respected how many great friends and family members out there.

Later that week my friend introduced me into a surgery that will take 8-12 weeks of recovery.  The ligament is 5 times stronger and has a much lower rupture rate.  That got me out of bed.  The surgery is not FDA approved so I'm heading to Canada on Friday.

After I got a glimmer of hope that I could shred this winter I decided to embrace what was going on.  I spray painted my crutches gold and put mad bling on them like my pimp cup.  I started talking to my friends again and went with them to Dew Tour and partied all weekend.  I figured how to still have my life regardless of what gets chucked at me.

I am continuing to rehab hard. I'm doing pool exercises as well as range of motion for my knee specifically.  I am also working core and hips like crazy so I don't get any muscle atrophy.  This Wednesday is the Level 1/4bi9 premier!!!!!!

 I'm beyond stoked!!!  And starting then Kirsten is back in town for a bit and we are gonna be GoProing some adventures and adding more pictures and videos to keep you all entertained so make sure to check back after that!  I am also going to be filming and talking about my rehab process so you can all hear first hand how this works.

I also find it entertaining that I hear back about my blog from fbook and just people in general, for a class I'm taking in school I actually have to share this blog with my classmates and teachers........ but no worries the vibe is going to stay exactly the same.

CT, Driving cross country, LUPE and 6 parties-1 night

Yooo so It's been way too long since I made a blog post and I have SOOO much info to relate right now!  Last Friday I took a red eye back to CT, got about 3 hrs of sleep the whole night.  Ct was AWESOME! so stoked to see my family again =)  I was only there Sat, Sun and Mon.  Sat we had Sushi for lunch and spent the day at the beach with dinner at my grandma GG's house.  Sunday We got the Uhaul and packed it all up with some help from the Mexican workers who are so much less lazy than americans it's incredible!  After packing that up we swam at the river a bit and had a LOBSTER feast for dinner!!!!  MOnday Jeanee got her braces off and I finished all the packing with my mom.

Tuesday at 5:30 BOOOOOM peace out CT ROAD TRIPPPP  We were driving out a uhaul towing my car, and my moms car.  We made it through CT, NY, NJ, PA, Ohio and into Indiana on Tuesday.  Wednesday we went through the rest of Indiana, Illinios, Iowa and into Nebraska.  On Thursday we went through Nebraska, which is way to LONG and Wyoming which is huge as well and into UTAH!!!!!!  Got back to PC at 6:30 took a shower then pieced out to LUPE.

Lupe was pretty damn sweet! SOOO many people hot and sweaty and dancing.  I went with Kirsten and Emily and her friend had a seizure!!!!!
After Lupe we got some Wendy's.  And first the guy made fun of Kirsten in the drive through window, then forgot her coke.......killin it
After we went to this ballin A$$ after party that got busted about 10 min after we go there- BUZZ KILL
Then we just headed back to Ben and Austin's for a bit and chilled there.

Friday I helped unload all our stuff into the new house.  Friday night We started out at Ben and Austins then went to a sick housewarming party that was chill until people decided to start fighting... then we pieced and headed to 13,13 then back tio Ben an Austins and home for the night.

Sat we got a whole buncha artsty decor furniture for mad cheap.  I went down to Saga again with Kirsten and skated.  I learned rock to fakey in their pipe which was mad fun.  Everyone was super wnice an encouraging but Kirsten ust laughed her a$$ off every time I fell an my board went flying.  After Saga we pregamed with Ben and Austin againnnn then headed off to a random party with a lot of random people that I did and didn't know.  Yesterday Ben decided Kirsten and I were now Dub Frontie girl/ saga girl and Jtitties.  Somehow that name seems to follow be everywhere I go, so he took to telling everyone last night that was my name, and somehow even though everyone has a terrible time remembering names everyone remembered that!  Then we saw Walter and he stoked on introducing me to all my friends as JT, wonderful.  Party got busted. Party on the porch of Mia and Ellie's house.  After that party we went to Jwentz and Kai's house which was a good time.  After that one got busted we went to some house Walter was stayin at.  After that we went to 13,13 Overall it was 6 parties in one night... BALLLERRR

Then I had to say so long to Kirsten whose going back to Breck, and wishes she was staying here now.  But she'll be back in 2 weeks haha but she was basically the only girl who is crazy enough to send it all day with me, and lives in PC so now I'll pretty much just have guys friends.  Oh yea also saw Gunnie season 3 times yesterday, 2 at saga then one at 13,13 sooo much 4bi9

Checkin in again… I can never remember when I do the last post days just seem to blend together in one big slew of AWESOMENESS!!!

So last night was Thursday which means TWILIGHT SERIES! Last night was Ghostland Observatory/ Phantogram  The lights were CRaZy!!! They put some weird smoke into the air and then flashed lights and it was amazingly trippy and baller as fu*k.  Went down with Kirsten and Abbie.  Met up with the Peach, EMMMMS, Blake and some other chicks.  Danced so hard! So many sweating guys rubbing their sweat all over us…..delicious…NOT.  Afterwards we went to some random kids house and chilled a bit then I went back to PC with Kirsten, Tim and EMS.

Oh yea skiing yesterday I did something kinda cool by accident.  I was working on kangs to the left when I set one real loopy and back and ended up doing dub underflip to the right.  Other than that nothing too snazzy has been happening at the UOP.

Today I ramped in the morning then worked out with the AXIS trying to get RIPPED.  Then Kirsten very nicely picked me up cause I had no ride, and realized this morning I was supposed to be goin to the airport, and for that I reallllyyy needed a ride.  So anyways Kirsten picked me up with Tim and we went swimming at the Canyons pool.  I rode a turtle, it was so damn sexy.  Tim rode the turtle too and squirted water which was pretty humorous considering it’s a little kids toy and he’s 6”1.  Apparently putting the photo up would ruin his street cred, so I’ll just ruin mine cause I didn’t have any to start with!

After that I packed and changed in like 30 min then jumped in the car to head down to SLC, but realized I didn’t have MY WALLET!!!!! FU*K  so we had to go up to the ramps and I ran down in a little blue sun dress….awkward.  Then we went to SAGA and I skated their pipe a lil.  It’s nice and small which is good for me cause I’m just beginning to skate although I have been practicing by SKATING THROUGH THE AIRPORT.  I got some nice sogay stickers which I’m not sure what to do with but imma try and tag the airport and give them away to all the SAGA pro hoe little boys.

After our rendezvous in Saga we went to our first ever INN N OUT experience- SO AMAZING! I would recommend going and getting the INN N OUT hat as well, it’s straight sexy on everyone who wears it.  After that we dropped Timmy BOY off and headed to the airport.  I then skated through it after I threw out my tanning lotion at security =(  And am now writing this blog post and filling out my updated athlete profile for HEAD SKIS cause I LOVE HEAD!!!!! Don’t you?? All while listening to Nicki Manaj whose my bit*h and Rick Ross whose my motha fu*king nigga.

SO Piece out UTAH!!! I’m going home for 2 days, then driving cross-country in 3 days!!! Cause I gotta make it back for LUPE FIASCO cause if I’m not back who the fu*k is Kirsten gonna go send it with?

IS THIS BLOG A JOKE?

So the question has been raised on weather this blog telling the amazing stories of Kirsten Cooley and Jamie Crane-Mauzy is a joke.  Last year I had a blog, I talked all about my training and it was boring as fuc* I couldn’t even find it on the internet, so I’m sure no one else found it, and if they did find it they probably weren’t really that interested in reading it.  I mean I could write a blog that was like….

So I woke up this morning and ate a super healthy breakfast cause I’m a hard working dedicated athlete. and then I stretched. And then I went to the water ramps cause I have to train so hard every day to be the bestest I can possibly  be cause now freeskiing is an Olympic sport and we all need to go be the next Shaune White  and represent America (fuc* yea!) and get all serious and wear spandex.  I took 11 jumps in session 1 and 14 in session 2, and these are all the tricks I did….. blab blab la And then I worked out a bunch.  And then I come home and read a book and went to sleep at 6 so I would have enough quality sleep to be an athlete……

HAHAHAHHAAHAH NOT!!!!

Pretty much I do all those things, but who wants to hear that? NO instead Kirsten and I are going all out and relating our experiences in way that is……..SO BALLER

Friday was a great time, I think I blogged about some of the ridiculous quotes at 4 AM. Which I guess means it was Saturday not Friday.

On Saturday we went to ASHLEY BATTERSBY’s house which was obviously a great time because what event hosted by ASH B can be anything but stupendous?  We had a BBQ with some chill people and did some ATV.  I met this kid Trevor who when I went to introduce myself told me this was the fourth time we have met……akward. Kirsten drove her ATV off the path and I had to come rescue it.  Luckily she didn’t flip it cause Amet still owes ash mad dolla bills and since Kirsten pieced out on her job she for sure does not have those dolla bills.  It was also lucky I didn’t flip the ATV cause I have had some trouble flipping big kid toys in the past.

Sunday we lounged by the pool in the Canyons all day, and I read from my kindle while Kirsten called me a nerd.  Hung with baller peops that night was supposed to go to the movies…. But instead just didn’t get off the couch. 

Monday water ramped and did the most baller cork 7 of my life only to come out of the water sputtering with a broken ski =( (guess just after banging too hard or something) After training I went blading which was mad fun I learned this hand plant thing where you go up the side then kick into a handstand then push off and land back in the bowl switch.  One of the times I pushed off a little too hard and rolled over with my shirt covering my face and lookin like a fool.  After I was tired of blading Chris let me use his skate board a little and Kimmy taught me how to drop in the 3 footer.  (Kimmy Sharp is a ballin ass skateboarder in case anyone is wondering....she's mad pro!) Thanks to them i got inspired and got a thuggin board so now i need to actually learn shi*.....

Tuesday I floated Weber with a good crew of people.  Kirsten flipped in the first rapid, and my tube popped ( I’m telling right aid it popped in the pool) so we all ended up on Valley’s rescue tube and ventured down the river having a grand old time.
